So there we were out for a lunchtime walk back on the 16th of July. The sign on the fence said ‘Archaeological dig’. Yeah right we all thought. Just to be proved right Tesco’s dig has been transformed into a large building site with the new Tesco rising out the ground in an alarmingly fast manner. Good old Tesco failed to publicise the planning meeting very well and now it’s growing quickly. Not that I’m in a position to comment as I shop at Tesco. But it’s just a shame to see the West Durrington sprawl going out one field at a time. Where will it all stop?

I love cake, me, in fact there's nothing I don't like about the stuff. It's delicious, moist and scrummy.

Holy crap that looks huge! There gonna be direct access from the A27 or something?! I wonder how many other stores are going up on the same site?An awful sight, but even I remember most of West Durrington being just fields…

  2. jimbo says:

It will be massive, access is still off the roundabout in Durrington though.
